How Texas Are You? On a quest for a Pecan day trip?

Every burg in Texas has it’s claim to fame and in Guadalupe County, Seguin’s “don’t

miss” stop is Pape’s Pecan House.   Had I not visited there, I’d not have found a great book about Texas , John Kelso’s

“Texas Curiosities”.  The book was  one of many must see , “have to have” items on

the shelves at Pape’s.  If you go there and amidst the great pecan options they have, you

also purchase this book you will also find out just… “how Texas you are”.   After my Pape’s

visit and reading the book, I did find out that once  upon a time, a homeless person

lived inside the big boots at North Star Mall.  You’ll have to read the book to get
